Engineering Experience
I attended UC Davis, where I was an active member of the CubeSat club and an undergraduate researcher. I graduated in 2020 with my B.S. in mechanical engineering. Since then, I’ve worked at large companies and start-ups alike. My engineering experience spans over three years and in that time I’ve:
designed hundreds of parts and assemblies, in the realms of product design, industrial machinery, and mechanisms
been named on two patents (pending)
designed experiments and test plans that yielded tens of thousands of illuminating data points
generated vast amounts of documentation and IP related to critical subsystems and processes
established expert-level proficiency in SolidWorks
conducted FEA that directly informed designs that ultimately functioned as intended
familiarized myself with material selection in both plastics and metals (especially stainless steel and aluminum)
fostered skills in manufacturing processes including laser cut and bent sheet metal design, precision machining, welding, and additive manufacturing
utilized part finishing processes such as anodization and powder coating
maintained large BOMs and worked directly with vendors, machine shops, and suppliers to materialize them
mentored junior engineers, onboarded new hires, and engaged in company DEI initiatives
